         <title>Reporting Analyst</title>
         <description><![CDATA[This is a brand new position within the analysis and search team suitable for a recent graduate with a strong analytical and technical background. The role will involve a large amount of reporting and interpretation of data. As such, knowledge of excel and the ability to understand and process large quantities of data is required. The analysis and search team supports the whole of the business in terms of the provision of management information and business analysis. The team aids the business decision process and because it uniquely works with all areas of the business this is a great opportunity to build experience within the insurance, finance and marketing sectors.
<strong>
Position: Reporting Analyst</strong>

You will be a highly motivated and professional person. You will be used to working quickly with large amounts of data and having to identify what is important. You will have a high level of attention to detail and be good at spotting errors hidden amongst the data. You will be patient and good at dealing with members of the business teams and understanding requests from a reporting and management information point of view.

The role mainly involves: 
   
<strong>Provision of management information</strong>
  Daily and weekly reports to measure the performance of the insurance sales centre in terms of number of policies sold, amount of premium written
  Weekly and monthly reporting to track the volume of users requesting a quote, and tracking where these users are coming from
  Producing all the monthly management figures that are used by the management team to measure business performance
  Logging sales that are sold on behalf of our lending team and tracking changes to the profile of businesses being written
  Providing one off snap shots of insurer by insurer analysis

<strong>Providing reporting support to the search marketing team</strong>
  Producing weekly and monthly reports for Xbridge Pay-Per-Click activities per vertical and partner
  Produce weekly and monthly ROI+ reports for XBs own brand, Simply Business.  This (and the above) is done combining data from a bid management tool and the internal reporting system
  Assist Pay-Per-Click with in-depth analysis on certain verticals or partners (down to keyword level) on ROI or volume basis
  Assist the natural search efforts with the collating and understanding of our search term rankings
<strong>
Invoicing & Pay Aways</strong>
  Carry out the invoicing for the business teams
  Track the issuing of invoices and liaising with the finance manager to ensure that financial and analysis numbers match
  Calculating the revenue owed to partners on a monthly basis

<strong>Required Experience</strong>
  Degree in analytical related subject (e.g mathematics, science, economics, business etc)
  Good knowledge of Excel
  Experience of analysis in a business environment desirable

<strong>Pay Per Click Search Marketing</strong>
  Assist in day to day management of accounts
  Produce reports to business teams and management
  Help increase ROI of all campaigns
  Research keyword lists and work on creatives for all major search engines
  Benchmarking our competitors PPC behaviour
  Identifying click fraud and low quality sources of traffic

<strong>Required Experience</strong>
  Degree in business, marketing or technology based subject
  Good knowledge of Excel
  Experience of web analytics desirable (Google Analytics, Omniture, Webtrends)

<strong>Requirements</strong>
	Proven commercial experience building experience building dynamic database driven Web applications using J2SE & J2EE components & frameworks.
	Experience with enterprise database servers such as Oracle 10g/MS SQL Server. 
	Experience with Web Services and SOA.
	Good Unix skills, including experience with various OS flavours, underlying daemons, protocols and tools.  Linux, Solaris, Apache, etc
	Experience with XP development methodologies, as well as other approaches; strong knowledge of source control tools and release management, build and unit testing tools (Perforce, ANT, JUnit, etc.)
	Deployment / Administration experience with one of Tomcat, Weblogic or Websphere.
	BSc or MSc (preferred) in Computer Science, Maths or similar, with a minimum 2.1 from a top tier university (or equivalent). 
	Analytical mind and creative approach to problem solving.
	Object Oriented Design & Development using UML. 
	Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

<strong>Desirable</strong>
	Experience in financial services and/or a strong e-commerce experience is very useful.
	Experience of Spring, Hibernate, AJAX, OO Design Patterns is a bonus.
