Position: Junior QA Engineer
This role provides a support function in a junior capacity to the Senior QA engineer. The role will require you to devise test plans. This will include selecting, implementing and thorough reporting of manual and/or automated tests applied. Report writing requires the candidate to possess excellent communication skills. You will also possess basic troubleshooting and PC skills.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Graduate of leading university with Science or Computer-related degree
- At least 3+ years experience in a similar position
- You will be extremely methodical and organised
- Strong tester with experience using Black Box for testing java applications in multiple technical environments
- Knowledge and use of HTML, Jscript
Desirable but not essential Skills and Experience
- White box testing
- Java, J2EE, XML, RDMS,
- Automated testing of JAVA and Web Applications
