LONDON, MAY 2004 - Xbridge, the UK's leading online business finance strategist, has won the prestigious New Media Age Business to Business Effectiveness Award for 2004. The hotly contested annual award was won for the development of Xbridge's B2B marketplaces for Small Business Finance.
Through its own b2b website - Decision Finance - which was launched in 2003, and white label sites for partners such as Yahoo, AOL and Tiscali, Xbridge successfully targets SMEs looking for financial services. The judges praised Xbridge for its functionality and the successful marriage of innovation with a no-nonsense business focus.
Brad Liebmann, Managing Director of Xbridge commented, "We are thrilled to be recognised for developing quality portals that enable SMEs to find the products and services they need - efficiently, quickly and with maximum results. We have undertaken a great deal of research and significant development in order to construct easy to use sites that are highly effective in meeting the needs of small businesses customers; and this award recognises that."
Liebmann continues, "Our aims were to improve users' overall experience through increased functionality in order that they could get the services that they wanted online. We also wanted to augment the level of revenue generated from the site itself and through our syndication partners. Our final objective was to improve the number and quality of the business leads for our vendor partners."
Through its network of over 200 small business finance marketplace websites Xbridge constantly experiment, testing and analysing potential improvements in usability and their effectiveness in improving the commercial potential from each site visit. Improvements that boost profitability are then rolled out to Xbridge commercial partners. By focusing uniquely on small business owners and their financial needs Xbridge has developed unique industry insight.
